Pick the suitable care gel as per your customer's needs
This kit provides a solution to various customer needs
1) Customers that want a gel treatment of their ingrown / curved toenail
2) Customers with mildly ingrown toenails. They experience pain or discomfort wearing closed shoes, usually due to clipping their toenails wrong or wearing unsuitable shoes.
3) Customers with significantly curved toenails. They not only experience physical discomfort, but the toenails’ appearance is significantly affected too.
4) Customers that would like to protect their toenails from growing into the skin.
A pedicure treatment is optional. If the customers only wants you to take care of the affected toenail, you can do that. Alternatively, a wet pedicure is an option. See below a step-by-step guide on combining a pedicure with Lift Up Gel.
COMBINING a pedicure treatment with mvp liftup gel
STEP 1
Soak the feet
STEP 2
Clip the toenails at the desired length
STEP 3
Nip the cuticles. Clean the sides and underneath the toenails. At this stage, if it is painful for the customer, you can leave the cleaning of the curved/ingrown toenail's sides, to do it later in the treatment process, once LIFT UP GEL is applied.
STEP 4
Complete any other treatments such as heels treatment, foot scrubs etc.
STEP 5
Dry the feet and toenails with a towel
STEP 6
Apply LIFT UP Gel on the affected toenail following the steps found here
Once you have applied LIFT UP Gel, you can then proceed with thoroughly cleaning the sides of the toenail. The toenails has already flattened to a degree, giving you the chance to properly clean it without the customer feeling pain or discomfort.
STEP 8
Gel Polish application. This step is optional and depends on the customer’s needs
STEP 9
Seal with the LIFT UP Top Coat. It is important not to use a different, regular UV/LED Top Coat.
NAIL POLISH:
If the customer prefers the use of a regular nail polish and not a gel color, you would apply the nail polish as the last step. Once you have cured the LIFT UP TOP in UV/LED, apply the nail polish and let it air-dry.
Click below to watch a video of the above process.
You can advise the customer to book an appointment withing the next 3-4 weeks. To remove LIFT UP Gel, you need to use a nail drill. It is not a soak-off product.
It all depends on the intensity of the problem. Thin toenails that are slightly curved can have the desired look with a single session. The thicker and curvier the toenails, the more sessions are required. You will always re-evaluate your customer’s toenails every 3-4 weeks.
